Frozen Water Lines: KMU has been receiving calls from residents concerned about water lines freezing like they did in 2014. To date, KMU has not received reports of any freezing problems this winter, but you may want to monitor the temperature of your water. If your water temperature runs below 38 degrees, you may want to consider letting your water run in a stream the size of a pencil. If you begin running your water, please call the City office (789-6415) so we are aware of the reason for a higher usage on your bill. At this time, there will be no credit for additional water used for this purpose. Please refer to the updated frozen water policy that was included in your December bills for more information
Meter reading usually begins on or around the 15th of the month, and bills are sent out between the 25th and 28th. The 10th of the following month is the due date.
Application for utility services. Just complete and return in person to City Hall. We must make a copy of your Legal I.D. for our records.
